They are mostly greens and whites! Beautiful. We have lots of ferns that look like that one, but of course they are tropical ones, unlike your temperate ferns.
Janet I am jealous - I just have to learn how to make a collage- such a good way of showing up your images. I am still in the list your pics dark ages. Soothing.
Thanks for all your comments. I'm glad you liked the collage. Catherine, This one was done in Picasa but I also do some in Photoshop. I seem to remember there's a very good tutorial by Shirley in her blog "Shirl's Garden Watch".
Uplifting scenes Janet! Great to see the Leucojum already in bloom, ours are well behind. I’m not the greatest fan of Prunus laurocerasus but you have captured it beautifully.
What a beautiful collage. It would look great transferred on to canvas and hung up on a wall!
ReplyDeleteI've put this reply up 3 times. Is it disappears again...I give up! What a great idea, Kelli!

ReplyDeleteThe double trillium is very choice. We grew it in Orkney. It takes a while to bulk up and is expensive to buy.
DeleteJanet what a lovely collage of flower and foliage, Frances
ReplyDeleteThank you Frances.
DeleteA lovely selection, Janet. I particularly love the subtle blue colour of the hydrangea.
ReplyDeleteI wish they were in our garden. Photographed at the NTS House of Dun.
DeleteOoh, that was a nice surprise! I clicked over to your blog ready to have a good read and instead found this lovely collage. Pretty!
ReplyDeleteI think it's called a filler. I'm gearing up for a long read in the next post. But I do enjoy playing around with photos.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Such a cool and serene collage of fragile winter beauty. Made me think of Vita with the pallete of white and greens...
ReplyDeleteA symphony of white, with great texture from the fern too.
