Another year in a garden in Montrose
Doesn't she have great Fall colour with the golden wings and burnt orange body! Kelli
She is a beautiful colour, Kelli. It was a chilly morning and I think whe was trying to get warm, spreading her wings in the sun.
Well done you for getting such a fine shot - one question - how do you know she's the last damselfly of summer Only joking.
Fantastic! Depressing really that all of this exciting insect activity will soon be over, but it has been a great year with all sorts mooching about.Bertie
Very nice shot, Janet. Is that with your new Nikon? If so I guess you've mastered it!
Im always amazed at natures colours. Gorgeous janet. Well you're gorgeous too, but the damselfly particularly lovely too. :-)
What a fabulous photo Janet, the colours leap out in contrast to the stone. Love the detail on the wings.
Hey Bertie, good to see you're not studying too hard!Dave I have to admit it not my new all singing all dancing Nikon... my old camera has been repaired. I'm practising in the garden with the new one..Fay, you say the sweetest things!Janet, the detail on the wings was the bit I really liked. They're so fine.
Wow! I'm impressed you managed to get that - they will never sit still for me!
Juliet, they don't usually sit still for me either. I think it was trying to get a bit of sun to get going.
