Windflowers

The most perfectly formed wind flowers (anemone blanda) with a pale pink flush at the stem end of the petals.

Sister Lydia, the Head Gardener of St Michael's Convent in London has a motto for her relaxed gardening style "Let it flow".  That is a great piece of gardening advice...

  1. I am completely unfamiliar with windflowers but I love the pretty bell shape and the blush of pink. I am all about letting the garden flow. Great quote.

  2. It may be too warm were you are for anemone blanda (wind flowers). They like a bit of cool and a bit of shade.
Really enjoyed a trip to North Carolina a few years back. (90s)
